Jumping the vaccination line

Two women try to pass as senior citizens to receive Covid-19 vaccinations. But they are turned away and given warnings for trespassing at a vaccination site in Orlando, Florida. “We realized a couple of young ladies came dressed up as grannies to get vaccines for the second time,” says Dr. Raul Pino (picture). Ryanair delays compensation by 4 years

Ryanair planeIn 2017, 4 passengers fly Ryanair from Malta to the Netherlands, where they arrive more than 3 hours late. The reason is a defect aircraft radio that needs to be replaced. After arrival the passengers claim through Claimingo €400 ($490) per person compensation referring to EU regulation 261/2004.

No emotional support animals anymore

For a long time, passengers in the USA had the right to take any animal into the cabin claiming it is an emotional support animal. A survey among flight attendants showed rampant abuse of this right. However, the US Department of Transportation (DOT) has finally taken action by revising its Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) regulation on the transportation of service animals by air. Emotional support animals are no longer allowed, only service animals.

Cleaning the windshieldOn December 26, 2020 KLM flight 705 is scheduled for a flight at 10:25 am to Rio de Janeiro with a flying time of nearly 12 hours. The flight, operated with a Boeing 787, departs with a 16 minutes delay. However, the plane doesn’t get farther than the Canary Islands, where the aircraft makes a U-turn and flies back to the Netherlands.
